2024 AVE Conference in Stony Point, NY, USA
A Professional Conference for Natural Vision Teachers: September 25th-29th, 2024
Register for the ConferenceWe are thrilled to be hosting our first in-person Association of Vision Educators Conference since the pandemic!
After 3 successful in-person AVE Conferences in California in 2015, Colorado in 2016, and Oregon in 2018, we opted for Virtual Conferences in 2020 and 2022.
Now in 2024 we are making a comeback and aim to host our biggest and best in-person conference yet in upstate New York!
We found an amazing Conference & Retreat Center called Stony Point, sensibly located in Stony Point, New York, tucked into the serene Hudson River Valley, just over an hour north of Manhattan.
We hope having our conference on the East Coast will make it easier for our European friends to fly over as well!
Stony Point has everything we need to have an enjoyable 5 Day Conference, including both Single and Double occupancy rooms, healthy catered meals that can meet your dietary needs, and gorgeous meeting spaces for us to gather in for our classes, talks, and workshops.
Registration for the 2024 AVE Conference is now open, and you will be able to select either a Single Room or a Double Room.
Please email [email protected] if you have a roommate preference, otherwise we can assign you a roommate.
If you are an active AVE member, you will get a $100 discount. Please check the Members Portal at www.naturalvisionteachers.com to get your coupon code to apply at checkout.
Not sure if you're a current member of the AVE? Check the Teachers page on the AVE website. If you don't find yourself, that means you have not yet joined through our new online system. It's not too late though, as you can still join before the conference to get the discount!
If you want to reinstate your membership, or become a new AVE member, you can join through the AVE website. You may either join as a publicly listed member so your teacher profile will appear on the teachers page and you will be searchable on the map, or join as an unlisted member so your information will remain private. Either way, once you become a member you will get access to the special discounted rate for the upcoming conference!
Please email [email protected] with any questions about your AVE membership or about our in-person conference this September.

The Association of Vision Educators is hosting the next professional conference from September 25th-29th, 2024 in Stony Point, New York, USA
In 2020 and 2022 we were forced to take our bi-annual conference online (which normally happens in-person) and hosted two successful virtual conferences.
Therefore, we are super excited to be hosting our 2024 conference in-person!
Here's how it works:
This 5-Day In-Person Gathering includes 3 to 6 eye-opening talks and workshops per day from some of the world’s top natural vision educators.
There will also be a shorter, interactive experience-based class in the morning before breakfast, as well as mini "Bates Breaks" between sessions where we get to implement and experience the Bates Method practices together.
All of this will be taking place at the Stony Point Conference & Retreat Center in Stony Point, New York, USA. Your registration fee will include the 5 Day Conference, 4 nights of lodging in either a Single or Double occupancy room, and healthy catered meals each day that will fit your individual dietary needs.
